Dr. Cornelia Blank is employed as Assistant Professor at the Institute for Sports Medicine, Alpine Medicine and Health Tourism at the University for Health Sciences, Medical Informatics and Technology (UMIT) in Hall in Tirol, Austria. Her research focuses on doping prevention in elite as well as amateur sport with special focus on adolescent athletes and their support personnel. She is furthermore interested in substance abuse as public health issue as well as on evaluating current doping prevention strategies. In 2012, she received the WADA Young Investigator Award for her research on the doping knowledge of Austrian Sport Physicians and Pharmacists.
