Lisa is a Research Officer at Leeds Metropolitan University (UK) utilising mixed methods approaches to investigate psychosocial aspects of doping in sport. Following on from her PhD which investigated athletes' willingness to dope, Lisa continues to work within the anti-doping domain with a commitment to conducting research that informs anti-doping policy and practice. She is currently working on an anti-doping research project which aims to explore the behaviours, beliefs and perceptions of adolescent males in relation to performance and image enhancement in sport. In particular, the project aims to develop an understanding of the factors influencing rugby union players' decision making and willingness to use performance and image enhancing substances to help inform young player education programmes.
