Mental Health

Mental health affects our well-being. In the Mental Health research group, we are working on improving the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders in general practice. Our focus is on stress, anxiety, depression, and grief. We do clinical and register based research.

Research areas

The group's research focuses on five overall themes:

  • Diagnosis of mental disorders  
  • Validation of psychometric instruments
  • Treatment with antidepressant medication
  • Psychotherapy for patients with mental disorders
  • Grief counselling and support for relatives
