The Department of Public Health works to promote public health. We conduct research into the health challenges facing society – to promote health and to prevent, treat and alleviate disease. We teach methods and interventions that are relevant to public health. And we collaborate and share our knowledge with citizens, decision-makers, business and industry, practitioners and other researchers – in municipalities, regions and both nationally and internationally.
We employ a number of professors, associate professors, postdocs, assistant professors, PhD-students, administrative staff, data managers, lecturers, laboratory staff and many more.
Please contact us if you are interested in the department, a collaboration, our research or have other questions for us.
