Laurie Patterson is a Senior Lecturer at Leeds Metropolitan University (UK). Her principal research interest is anti-doping education, with a particular focus on coaches. A large branch of her doctoral research involved exploring coaches’ perceived roles in anti-doping efforts, as well as the relevance of anti-doping education to coaches. Laurie has worked on several projects commissioned by the World Anti-Doping Agency, including on-going research to guide the development of an anti-doping training program for high performance coaches.
