My group aims to understand the epidemiology of major global diseases, such as HIV and tuberculosis, with a focus on global health. Additionally we aim to describe challenges and solutions within migrant health and have a focus on epidemiology of diseases in refugees and other migrants.
We focus on strengthening Primary Health Care in low- and middle-income countries as well as in Denmark. Developing and testing sustainable models for integrated, comprehensive, community-oriented care delivered through a Primary Health Care team of health professionals and volunteers.
