A new study by researchers from REACH highlights the role of health literacy in pregnancy
The study shows, among other findings, that health-related social support may influence when they go to the hospital during labour. In addition, the study finds that women’s ability to actively manage their own health and to assess health information, may influence whether choose to use epidural analgesia.
